Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is an integrated system comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder. Together, they form a highly efficient grinding solution.

Initially, materials are crushed by a hammer crusher into smaller fragments, then transported to a storage hopper by the elevator. Subsequently, they are evenly distributed to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate via the vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

In operation, the grinding mill's main bearing and dials move under the electromotor's power, transmitted through a reducer. Each grinding roller is set in motion by the dial through a plunger system. This forces materials to the turn plate's edge by centrifugal force, driving them into the grinding chambers for further processing. Within these chambers, materials are subjected to continuous pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, systematically reducing them to micro powder. The result is a consistent production of ultra-fine powder.

The high-pressure air blower continuously draws air into the grinding mill, creating an airflow that effectively transports crushed materials into the classifier. The high-speed impeller within this component screens the airflow, ensuring precise classification: Particles not meeting size specifications descend back for further grinding, while appropriately sized particles, mingled with air, advance to the cyclone powder collector. Here, the majority of qualified powders descend through the discharging valve. Meanwhile, finer particles, carried by airflow, proceed to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. A strategic, sudden pulse of high-pressure gas dislodges these particles, which then cascade down for final packaging. Filtered air is subsequently released through the muffler's air outlet.
