Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated ensemble of components, including the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Large materials are first reduced by the hammer crusher and then transported to the storage hopper via the elevator. Subsequently, they are evenly distributed to the upper turn plate through the vibrating feeder and feeding pipe.

Driven by the electromotor, the main bearing and dials power the grinding rollers to glide in the ring channels, propelled by plunger-driven dials. Centrifugal force guides the materials to the edge of the turn plate, cascading them into the grinding chambers where relentless pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers occur. The materials pass through multiple layers, achieving fine crushing and grinding to create a continuous flow of micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower ensures a constant influx of air within the grinding mill, creating an airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier. Here, the high-speed impeller assesses the particle size, ensuring precision: Unqualified particles return to the mill for further grinding, while qualified particles mix with air to enter the cyclone powder collector. Qualified powders are primarily discharged through the valve at the bottom while a smaller fraction moves with the airflow to the dust cleaner. Here, high-pressure gas and filter bag vibrations ensure the collection of fine powders and clean air emission is managed through the muffler outlet.
