Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is ingeniously crafted, featuring a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, then reduced to smaller sizes and transferred to a storage hopper via an elevator. From there, they are evenly distributed to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate using a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

As the grinding mill operates, the main bearing and dials are activated by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer. All grinding rollers rotate within the ring channels, guided by dials through plungers. Centrifugal force propels the materials to the turn plate's edge, channeling them into the grinding chambers where they undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, creating finely crushed layers. The process continues until the material transforms into micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower constantly circulates air within the grinding mill, propelling the airflow along with crushed materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller screens the airflow: Unqualified particles fall back for regrinding, while qualified particles merge with air into the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders drop and are discharged through the valve at the bottom. A minor quantity of fine powders, combined with airflow, moves to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. Fine powders then dislodge by sudden vibration caused by instantly ejected high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. Both powder batches are conveyed for packing, and filtered clean air exits through the muffler's air outlet.
