Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is an engineering marvel, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder, all working harmoniously to deliver exceptional results.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, transforming into smaller sizes. These are then transported to a storage hopper by an elevator, followed by a seamless distribution to the upper plate of the turn plate via vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

When operational, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer. Subsequently, the grinding rollers are mobilized within the ring channels by a dial through the plunger. This centrifugal force propels materials to the edge of the turn plate, directing them down into the grinding chambers where they undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers. This process continues as materials descend through multiple layers, achieving a micro powder form. continuously micro powdering the raw materials.

The high-pressure air blower incessantly draws air into the grinding mill, orchestrating an airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier, where the high-speed impeller screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size specifications are redirected to the mill for further grinding, while fine particles intermingle with air, proceeding to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of fine powders descend and exit via the discharging valve located at the bottom. A fraction of the fine powders, entrapped in the airflow, adhere to the filter bags. With sudden vibrations induced by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve, these fine powders detach and consolidate. The resulting materials are conveyed from both sections for packaging into finished powders. Moreover, clean, filtered air is released through the muffler's air outlet.
