Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill features a robust design comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by a hammer crusher, reduced to smaller sizes, and directed to a storage hopper via an elevator, then precisely sent to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are activated by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer, setting the grinding rollers in motion. These rollers rotate within the ring channels via plunger action. Materials are propelled to the edge of the turn plate by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, eventually forming micro powder. This process continues seamlessly, ensuring optimal powder production.

High-pressure air blower constantly draws air into the grinding mill, creating a continuous airflow. Accompanied by crushed materials, this airflow is guided to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller sorts the particles. will screen the airflow: Particles that do not meet size specifications return to the mill for further grinding, while those meeting requirements are carried by air into the cyclone powder collector. Here, most qualified powders settle and are discharged via a valve. A small fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, reaches the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bag surfaces. Upon a sudden pulse of high-pressure gas, these fine powders are released and collected, while clean air exits through the muffler's air outlet.
