Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is ingeniously composed of a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, the hammer crusher reduces large materials into smaller pieces which are then transported to the storage hopper via an elevator, and subsequently distributed to the turn plate's upper distribution plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the electromotor drives the main bearing and each dial through a reducer, setting all grinding rollers in motion within the ring channels, propelled by the dial through plungers. Centrifugal force propels materials toward the edge of the turn plate and into grinding chambers where they are continuously pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers into micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower draws in air into the grinding mill, and this airflow carries the crushed materials to a classifier, where the high-speed impeller screens the airflow: Unqualified particles return to the mill for regrinding, while qualified particles mingle with the air, moving into the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend and exit via the discharging valve at the bottom. A small fraction of the finest powders travels with the airflow to the dust cleaner, clinging to filter bags. They then fall due to the sudden vibration from high-pressure gas ejected by the pulse valve, packing the materials efficiently. Filtered clean air is eventually released through the muffler air outlet.
