Working Principle of the HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill features an integrated assembly of main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder for superior grinding efficiency.

Materials are initially crushed by the hammer crusher, transitioning from large to small pieces, which are then efficiently transported to the storage hopper by elevator, before being precisely fed via vibrating feeder and sloping pipe to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate.

As the grinding mill operates, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the main equipment's electromotor via a reducer, causing all grinding rollers to roll within the ring channels driven by a dial through plunger mechanism. This process drives materials to the turn plate edge by centrifugal force, resulting in their descent into grinding chambers where they experience repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, eventually descending through multiple layers to be thoroughly crushed and transformed into micro powder. continuously to micro powder.

The high-performance air blower continuously draws air within the grinding mill, creating a dynamic airflow that combines with crushed materials and moves to the classifier, whose high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: particles not meeting the required size are redirected to the mill for additional grinding, while those achieving the desired size, combined with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of qualified powders descend and are discharged through the bottom valve. while a minor fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, is directed to the dust cleaner, adhering to the filter bags. Instantly ejected high-pressure gas from the pulse valve induces a sudden vibratory release, causing fine powders to detach and fall. Both batches of materials are conveyed to the bottom for final processing and packaging, with filtered clean air safely vented through the muffler's air outlet.
