Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill features a comprehensive system incorporating the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Begin your grinding process as large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, then transported to the storage hopper via an elevator. They are subsequently distributed evenly to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are energized by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer. Together, they mobilize all grinding rollers. Driving through plunger in the ring channels, the materials are propelled to the edge of the turn plate by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers. Here, materials undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, cascading through multiple layers for optimal pulverization. This continuous process refines materials into an ultra-fine micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower incessantly draws air into the grinding mill, maintaining a constant airflow. This airflow, enriched with crushed materials, is directed to the classifier, where the high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size requirements return to the mill for further grinding, while appropriately sized particles merge with the air and proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of qualified powders descend through the discharging valve situated at the bottom. A minimal fraction of fine powders adheres to filter bags within the dust cleaner, dislodged by the sudden vibration triggered by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. These are then conveyed for packaging. Meanwhile, filtered clean air exits via the muffler's air outlet, completing the process.
