Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is an assemblage of components including a Main Unit, Classifier, Powder Collector, Dust Cleaner, Blower, Muffler, Sound-Proof Room, Crusher, Bucket Elevator, Storage Hopper, and Vibrating Feeder.

Initially, the hammer crusher handles large materials, reducing them to smaller sizes, which are then conveyed to the Storage Hopper by the Elevator. The materials are subsequently distributed evenly onto the upper distribution plate of the turn plate via a Vibrating Feeder and Sloping Feeding Pipe.

In operation, the Main Bearing and each Dial are powered by the electromotor of the primary equipment via a Reducer. This motion causes all Grinding Rollers to traverse the ring channels driven by the Dial through the Plunger. As a result, the material, propelled by centrifugal force, migrates to the edge of the Turn Plate, descending into the Grinding Chambers where it endures repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the Rollers. This relentless process transforms the material into multi-layered micro powder. The transformation is continuous, ensuring consistent production of ultra-fine powder.

The high-pressure Air Blower unceasingly draws air into the Grinding Mill, generating a continuous airflow that guides the crushed materials to the Classifier, equipped with a high-speed impeller that meticulously screens the airflow: Unqualified particles are returned to the Mill for regrinding, while qualified particles, mingled with air, advance to the Cyclone Powder Collector. Here, the majority of the qualified powders descend and exit through the Discharging Valve located at the base. Meanwhile, a fraction of fine powders, riding the airflow, is directed to the Dust Cleaner. These powders adhere to Filter Bag surfaces, only to be dislodged by the sudden vibrations caused by pulse-valve-controlled high-pressure gas. The extracted materials from both segments are channeled by a conveyor into the packaging process. Moreover, any filtered clean air is expelled harmlessly through the Muffler's air outlet.
