Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a marvel of engineering, featuring a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and a vibrating feeder-all working in harmony.

Initially, large materials are crushed by a hammer crusher, then reduced to smaller particles and transferred to a storage hopper by elevator. They are then evenly dispersed to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

In operation, the main bearing and each dial are driven by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer. All grinding rollers are in motion, rolling dynamically in the ring channels. Driven by the dial through a plunger, materials are pushed to the edge of the turn plate by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers, where they are pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers into layers, undergoing continuous transformation into micro powder. The process ensures ongoing conversion into fine powder.

The high-powered air blower sustains airflow intake within the grinding mill, propelling airflow along with crushed materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size specifications are regrounded, while qualified particles are swept into the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders are expelled via the discharging valve at the bottom, while a fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, are directed to the dust cleaner. They adhere to filter bags and are dislodged by a sudden vibration caused by a pulse valve-controlled burst of high-pressure gas, ready for packing after collection.
