Understanding the Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is meticulously crafted, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by a hammer crusher, transforming them into smaller pieces. These are then stored in a hopper, elevated by a bucket, and seamlessly distributed to the upper distribution plate by a vibrating feeder via a sloping feeding pipe.

Operationally, the main bearing and dials, driven by an electromotor through a reducer, control all the grinding rollers. The rollers, guided through plunger dials, roll within ring channels. Here, centrifugal forces push materials to the edge of the turn plate into the grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, forming multiple layers and achieving micro-powder consistency. This process continues seamlessly, converting materials into micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower plays a crucial role, drawing air into the grinding mill. This airflow, coupled with crushed materials, is directed to the classifier. The high-speed impeller screens the airflow with precision: Particles that don't meet the size criteria fall back for regrinding, while suitably-sized particles mix with air and enter the cyclone powder collector. The bulk of qualified powders descend and exit via the discharging valve. A smaller fraction of fine powders, carried by the airflow, adhere to filter bags in the dust cleaner. A sudden jolt from high-pressure gas, regulated by the pulse valve, causes these powders to fall, enabling the collection of finished powders. Additionally, clean air exits through the muffler air outlet.
