Working Principle

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a comprehensive solution, featuring a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder. Together, they ensure efficient and effective grinding.

Large materials are initially crushed by a hammer crusher, reducing them to smaller pieces. These are then transferred to the storage hopper by an elevator and fed evenly to the upper distribution plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

In operation, the grinding mill's main bearing and dials are powered by the main equipment's electromotor, with all grinding rollers rolling within the ring channels, driven by the dial through a plunger mechanism. Materials are propelled to the turn plate edge by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers where they are subjected to repeated pressure, crushing, and grinding by the rollers. This results in a continuous transformation into micro powder across multiple layers. until they achieve the desired micro powder consistency.

The high-pressure air blower draws air consistently within the grinding mill, facilitating a dynamic airflow that carries crushed materials to the classifier. The high-speed impeller at the classifier efficiently screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size requirements are returned to the mill for regrinding, while those that qualify are channeled to the cyclone powder collector with the airflow. Qualified powders predominantly fall and exit via the discharge valve located at the bottom. A minor fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, is captured by the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. A pulse valve-induced high-pressure gas release causes filter bag vibrations, dislodging fine powders to be collected. Finished powders from both sources are conveyed for packaging, while clean air is expelled through the muffler's air outlet.
