Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is ingeniously designed with a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, and more to optimize performance.

Initially, large materials are crushed by a hammer crusher, reducing them to smaller sizes. These are then elevated to the storage hopper, ensuring seamless transfer to the upper distribution plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and dials are powered by an electromotor via a reducer. The grinding rollers tirelessly move within the ring channels, driven by dials through plungers. With centrifugal force, materials are pushed to the turn plate's edge, descending into grinding chambers. Here, they are subjected to continuous pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, transforming into a refined micro powder. continuing the pulverization process to achieve the finest powder consistency.

The robust high-pressure air blower actively draws air into the grinding mill, generating an airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: Particles that fail to meet size standards return for regrinding, while those that qualify are transported into the cyclone powder collector, mixed with air. The majority of qualified powders settle and are released through the bottom discharging valve. A fraction of fine powders, carried by the airflow, adhere to the dust cleaner's filter bags. The sudden vibration from the pulse valve's high-pressure gas release dislodges these particles. They are eventually conveyed for packaging as finished powders. Clean air exits through the muffler, ensuring environmental safety.
