Grinding Process


The heart of this powerful grinding machine lies in its ability to transform raw materials into fine powders through a seamless process. The main motor powers the rotation of the grinding plate, working in harmony with high-pressure air that flows into the mill's interior. As materials are fed onto the center of the rotating grinding plate via a screw conveyor feeder, centrifugal force elegantly propels them outward. This motion causes them to traverse the plate, where they are directly crushed and ground by the robust grinding roller. The fine particles form a cohesive material bed, experiencing intense inter-particle crushing, culminating in an exquisitely fine powder.

As the fine powder continues its journey to the edge of the grinding plate, it is gracefully swept away by a powerful air flow at the air ring. Throughout their upward path, the materials interact with the separator stationed above the plate. Here, the rotor blade ensures that only the finest particles travel with the air flow, leaving the mill's confines to be collected and delivered as the finished product. Meanwhile, larger particles naturally return for further grinding, ensuring perfection in every batch.

Powder Production Process Flow

Embark on a streamlined production journey where raw materials are meticulously managed from the hopper to final packaging. Materials are adeptly handled by the feeding belt conveyor, with weight precision ensured by the belt scale while iron impurities are expertly extracted. Following an elevator journey through the air lock valve and screw conveyor, pulverization occurs within the mill. Qualified powder, once separated by the classifier, is carefully transmitted to the tank-type pulse dust collector, and subsequently to the final product hopper for packing and sale.

A small quantity of coarse materials, or 'slag', is cyclically reintroduced into the system, ensuring thorough grinding and maximum material utilization.

Safety is paramount with an iron remover integrated into the feeding belt conveyor, safeguarding the ultrafine vertical roller mill's operation and ensuring smooth, uninterrupted production.
