Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is composed of the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, reducing them to smaller sizes. These are stored in the hopper and fed evenly to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the mill's main bearing and each dial are activated by the electromotor of the primary equipment via the reducer, causing all grinding rollers to roll within the ring channels, driven by the dial through plungers. The centrifugal force propels the materials to the turn plate's edge, directing them into the grinding chambers. Here, they're subjected to repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, flowing through multiple layers for continuous transformation into micro powder. continuously to micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower incessantly draws air into the grinding mill, initiating an airflow that carries the crushed materials toward the classifier. This device's high-speed impeller effectively screens the airflow: Particles that don't meet the required size fall back for regrinding, while those that do, along with the air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of qualified powders descend and exit via the discharge valve located at the bottom. Simultaneously, a minor portion of fine powders, carried by the airflow, adheres to the filter bags in the dust cleaner. These are dislodged by a sudden pulse of high-pressure gas, facilitating their collection. Both lots of materials converge via a bottom conveyor, ready for packaging. Meanwhile, purified air is safely emitted from the muffler's air outlet.
