Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

Our HGM series micro powder grinding mill comprises the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder for optimal functionality.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher. The smaller particles are then transported to the storage hopper by an elevator and evenly distributed onto the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main equipment's electromotor, through a reducer, rotates the main bearing and each dial, causing the grinding rollers to revolve in the ring channels. These are driven by the dial through a plunger, pushing materials to the edge of the turn plate by centrifugal force, then into the grinding chambers where they are subsequently pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers, forming multiple layers. This continuous process results in the transformation of materials into micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower constantly draws air into the grinding mill. The resulting airflow, carrying crushed materials, is directed to the classifier. Its high-speed impeller screens the airflow: Particles that do not meet size specifications are separated and returned to the mill for further grinding, while adequately sized particles, mixed with air, are directed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of these qualified powders are collected at the bottom through a discharging valve. A small amount of finer powders, along with airflow, are conveyed to the dust cleaner and adhere to the filter bags' surface. The sudden pulse valve-controlled high-pressure gas causes vibrations, dislodging these powders, which are then conveyed, packaged, and prepared for use. Finally, filtered air exits through the muffler's air outlet.
