Working Principle of HGM Ring Roller Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill comprises essential components including a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder for seamless operation.

Following initial crushing by the hammer crusher, large materials are reduced to smaller sizes and elevated to the storage hopper, then uniformly dispatched to the turn plate's upper distribution plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the grinding mill's main bearing and dials are powered by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer, ensuring smooth functionality and efficient grinding. The grinding rollers actively engage within the ring channels, driven by the dial and plunger, propelling materials to the turn plate's edge via centrifugal force, directing them into the grinding chambers. Here, materials undergo a rigorous process of pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, falling through multiple layers, undergoing continuous transformation into micro powder. This meticulous process ensures the creation of ultra-fine powders.

The high-pressure air blower plays a crucial role by consistently drawing air into the grinding mill, maintaining a steady airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier, where its high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size specifications are redirected for further grinding, while qualified particles, mixed with air, progress to the cyclone powder collector. Most of the qualified powders descend and are discharged via the bottom valve, while a smaller fraction, carried with airflow, heads to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. The sudden vibration from instant high-pressure gas release, managed by the pulse valve, dislodges fine powders from the filter bags' surface, which then fall and are collected. These collected materials from both sources are conveyed for final packing. Additionally, muffler-filtered clean air is released from the air outlet.
