Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated ensemble consisting of a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder, all working harmoniously to ensure seamless operation.

Initially, materials crushed by the hammer crusher are efficiently reduced in size, then transported to the storage hopper via elevator, after which they are evenly distributed onto the upper distribution plate of the turn plate by the vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and various dials are propelled by the electromotor of the primary equipment through a reducer, setting all grinding rollers in motion. These rollers, operating within the ring channels, skillfully guide the materials to the turn plate's edge using centrifugal force, channeling them into the grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials undergo a rigorous cycle of pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, cascading through multiple layers to achieve the desired micro-powder consistency. This process continues uninterrupted, resulting in the production of finely milled powder.

Powered by a high-pressure air blower, the grinding mill continuously inhales air, with this airflow, carrying the crushed materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller expertly screens the airflow: Particles not meeting the size criteria return for regrinding, while those that qualify seamlessly blend with the air to proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of these powders settle and exit through the discharging valve, while a slight fraction, carried by airflow, reaches the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. Subsequently, the fine powders dislodge from the bag surface following the pulse valve's high-pressure gas-induced vibration. The resultant materials from these two processes are then consolidated and conveyed to be packaged as finished powders. Additionally, filtered clean air is emitted via the muffler's air outlet as the concluding step.
