Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill comprises a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder for an optimized grinding process.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, downsized, and transported to the storage hopper by the elevator. They are then evenly distributed to the turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the grinding mill's main bearing and dials are propelled by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer, engaging all grinding rollers. These rollers traverse the ring channels, driven by the dial through a plunger, pushing the materials to the turn plate's edge by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers. Here, materials are methodically pressed, crushed, and finely grinded by rollers, cascading through multiple layers for continuous pulverization into micro powder. The process ensures that materials are finely processed to achieve micro powder consistency.

The high-pressure air blower functions to consistently draw in air within the grinding mill, facilitating the airflow that carries the pulverized materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: Particles that do not meet the size criteria are redirected for further milling, while those that do are carried into the cyclone powder collector with the air. Qualified powders are predominantly discharged through the bottom valve. Meanwhile, a fraction of finer powders is conveyed to the dust cleaner, adhering to the filter bags' surface, dislodged by the filter bags' sudden vibration triggered by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. The resultant materials are collected and conveyed for final packaging, ensuring clean air is emitted via the muffler's outlet.
