Working Principle of the HGM Micro Powder Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is an ensemble of innovation, comprising the main unit, sophisticated classifier, efficient powder collector, precision dust cleaner, powerful blower, muffler, sound-proof room, robust crusher, integrated bucket elevator, spacious storage hopper, and reliable vibrating feeder.

Following the initial crushing by the hammer crusher, bulky materials transform into manageable sizes and are efficiently elevated to the storage hopper. Subsequently, they are evenly distributed via the upper distribution plate of the turn plate by the vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and dial system are powered by the electromotor through a reducer, seamlessly driving the grinding rollers. These rollers roll within the ring channels, a movement orchestrated by the dial through a plunger mechanism. The centrifugal force propels materials to the edge, immersing them into grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials undergo repetitive pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, descending through multiple layers for comprehensive processing. This relentless process meticulously transforms materials into micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower plays a pivotal role, constantly drawing in air through the grinding mill. The airflow, laden with finely crushed materials, is guided to the classifier where a high-speed impeller initiates screening. This screening determines: Unqualified particles recycle back to the mill for further refinement, while qualified particles, mingled with air, transition to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend, exiting via the discharging valve at the base. A smaller segment, accompanied by airflow, advances to the dust cleaner where they adhere to filter bag surfaces. These particles are dislodged by filter bag vibrations, stimulated by the high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. The two powder streams merge via a conveyor for final packing. Meanwhile, purified air exits through the muffler outlet.
