Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated combination of components including the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder. This assembly ensures seamless operation.

Initially, materials are crushed by the hammer crusher into smaller pieces. These are then transported to the storage hopper via elevator, followed by uniform distribution to the upper plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping pipe.

During operation, the primary bearing and dials are activated by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer, setting all grinding rollers in motion. These rollers, driven by the dial through plungers, roll along the ring channels. The centrifugal force propels materials to the turn plate's edge, leading them into the grinding chambers. Within the chambers, materials undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by rollers, progressively breaking down into micro powder through continuous processing. Resulting in a fine, consistent micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower constantly circulates air within the grinding mill, creating a dynamic airflow that carries crushed materials to the classifier, where the high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: particles that don't meet size criteria are redirected to the mill for further grinding, while those that qualify, along with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend to exit through the discharging valve, while a minor fraction of fine powders is conveyed with airflow to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. Upon the filter bags' sudden vibration-triggered by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve-the fine powders detach and descend. These materials, from both streams, are combined and conveyed to produce finished powders ready for packaging. Meanwhile, purified air exits the muffler's air outlet.
