Working Principle of the HGM Micro Powder Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a marvel of engineering, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Transformed by the hammer crusher, large materials are reduced, elevated to a storage hopper, then evenly distributed to the upper turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.
In operation, the main bearing and dials are propelled by the electromotor, while grinding rollers roll through ring channels driven by dials via plungers. Materials are hurled to the turn plate edge by centrifugal force, descending into grinding chambers where they undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by rollers, advancing through layers to achieve continuous micro powder transformation.

The high-pressure air blower draws air continuously within the grinding mill, propelling the airflow laden with crushed materials to the classifier. Here, the high-speed impeller performs its screening magic: Unqualified particles return for further refinement, while qualified sizes join airflow into the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders gracefully descend and are discharged through the valve at the base. Meanwhile, some fine powders travel with airflow to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. As high-pressure gas triggers pulse valve vibrations, these powders descend, joining others in the conveyor for final packaging. Simultaneously, filtered air exits through the muffler.
