Working Principle of Ultrafine Vertical Roller Mill

Driven by the main motor via a reduction gear, the grinding plate rotates. Simultaneously, high-pressure air is directed into the mill's interior through the air inlet. Materials are delivered to the center of this rotating plate by a screw conveyor feeder. Due to centrifugal force, they spread evenly from the center to the edge of the plate. As they traverse the plate's track, larger material blocks are directly crushed and ground by the grinding roller. The resultant fine particles form a material bed, facilitating inter-particle crushing that continues until a fine powder is achieved.

As the fine powder journeys gracefully towards the edge of the grinding plate, it is elegantly swept away by the powerful airflow at the air ring. When materials, accompanied by this airflow, traverse the separator positioned above the grinding plate, the coarser particles are expertly directed back for a refined re-pulverization process. Thanks to the precise action of the rotor blade, fine particles are smoothly escorted out of the mill, along with the airflow, to be meticulously collected and discharged. These fine particles are transformed into a finished powder product by the advanced powder collector.
