Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated system, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, transformed into smaller pieces, and then transported to the storage hopper via elevator. Subsequently, they are evenly distributed to the upper plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and dials are driven by a powerful electromotor through a reducer. Meanwhile, the grinding rollers are set into motion within the ring channels, powered by the dial via plunger. As centrifugal force drives the materials to the edge of the turn plate, they descend into the grinding chambers where they undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers. This process continues, transforming materials into micro powder as they are layered and crushed continuously, achieving a delicate fineness.

The robust high-pressure air blower constantly circulates air inside the grinding mill, fostering an airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier, where its high-speed impeller scrutinizes the airflow: Particles not meeting the size criteria return for further milling, while those that do are escorted by air into the cyclone powder collector for sorting. Most qualified powders descend and exit via the discharging valve at the bottom, while a smaller portion of fine powders, propelled by airflow, progress to the dust cleaner. Here, they adhere to the filter bags' surfaces, only to be dislodged by a sharp pulse of high-pressure gas controlled by the pulse valve. The two groups of materials are then conveyed to complete the process and are packaged as finished powders. Clean air, meanwhile, is released via the muffler's air outlet.
