Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is an assembly of sophistication, comprising the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

The process begins by crushing large materials with a hammer crusher. These then transform into smaller fragments, transported to the storage hopper via elevator, and subsequently distributed to the upper plate of the turn plate by a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

As the grinding mill operates, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer. The grinding rollers roll smoothly within the ring channels, propelled by the dial through the plunger. Materials are guided by centrifugal force to the turn plate edge and descend into the grinding chambers. Here, materials are systematically pressed, crushed, and ground by rollers, cascading through multiple layers to achieve a refined micro powder. The continuous grinding process ensures that materials undergo repeated crushing and grinding, resulting in a seamless production of micro powder. The high-pressure air blower

consistently draws air into the grinding mill. In turn, this airflow, laden with crushed materials, is directed to the classifier. Here, the high-speed impeller efficiently screens the airflow: the impeller ensures that particles of unqualified size fall back to the mill for further grinding, while those that qualify, mixed with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend and exit through the discharging valve at the bottom. Meanwhile, a fraction of fine powders, carried by the airflow, reaches the dust cleaner and adheres to filter bags. As the filter bags vibrate from the pulse valve's sudden high-pressure gas, these powders descend. The materials from both processes are conveyed for packing. Filtered air exits silently through the muffler's air outlet. The seamless process ensures efficient powder collection and packaging, while maintaining air purity.
