Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated system comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, large materials are crushed by the hammer crusher into smaller pieces, sent to the storage hopper via elevator, and subsequently distributed evenly to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the electromotor of the main equipment via a reducer, causing all grinding rollers to traverse the ring channels, propelled by the dial through a plunger. Centrifugal force drives materials to the turn plate's edge and into the grinding chambers where the materials are systematically pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers. This process ensures materials are reduced to micro powder through continuous crushing and grinding across multiple layers.

The high-pressure air blower maintains a constant flow of air within the grinding mill, directed by the airflow and the high-speed impeller of the classifier which screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size requirements are recirculated for further grinding while the qualified particles, mixed with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend and exit through the discharging valve at the bottom. A fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, is collected on filter bags within the dust cleaner. The sudden vibrations caused by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve release these powders, which are packaged after conveyance. Clean, filtered air exits through the muffler air outlet, ensuring an environmentally friendly operation.
