Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated assembly of components including the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Once materials are crushed by the hammer crusher, they are transformed into smaller forms and sent to the storage hopper via elevator, ready for even distribution to the turn plate's upper distribution plate through the vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer, with all grinding rollers engaging in motion within the ring channels, propelled by the dial via a plunger. The centrifugal force draws materials to the turn plate's edge, directing them into the grinding chambers where they undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, forming multiple layers for continuous transformation into micro powder. This process ensures a consistent production of high-quality micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower efficiently draws air within the grinding mill, facilitating airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller precisely screens the airflow: Particles not meeting size standards will fall back for regrinding, while qualified particles mixed with air proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of qualified powders exit through the discharging valve at the base, while a minor fraction of fine powders, carried by airflow, travel to the dust cleaner and adhere to filter bag surfaces. These fine powders are dislodged by the filter bags' sudden vibration, triggered by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. Materials from both processes are conveyed for packaging, with filtered clean air discharged through the muffler's air outlet.
