The extensive list of compatible materials includes calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, steatite, mica, magnetite, iolite, pyrophyllite, vermiculite, meerschaum, attapulgite, diatomite, barite, gypsum, alunite, graphite, fluorite, phosphate ore, potassium ore, pumice, and more. Precision in product size is ensured with adjustments available between 300 to 3000 mesh.
Application of HGM Ultrafine Mill
HGM Ultrafine Mill represents state-of-the-art mining equipment, purpose-built for crafting micro and fine powders. Its applications span a broad spectrum of industries, including metallurgy, mining, chemistry, cement, construction, refractory materials, and ceramics. This versatile mill is engineered for superfine grinding of materials with a hardness rating of less than 9 on Moh's scale and a maximum humidity of 6%. An impressive variety of materials can be processed, such as kaolin, limestone, calcite, marble, talcum, barite, gypsum, dolomite, bentonite mud, mica, pyrophyllite, sepiolite, carbon black, diatomite, graphite, alunite, fluorite, potassium feldspar, phosphorite, and pigment, encompassing up to 200 types.
Working principle of HGM Ultrafine Mill
Upon operation, the grinding mill sets all rollers in motion around the ring. Centrifugal force pushes materials towards the edge of the turnplate, where they descend into grinding chambers. Here, materials undergo repeated pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers.
The high-pressure air blower perpetually draws air within the mill. The resulting airflow, now carrying crushed materials, is propelled towards the classifier. The high-speed impeller of the classifier sifts the airflow: particles that do not meet size standards are redirected to the mill for further grinding. Conversely, suitable particles, mixed with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Here, most qualified powders are collected and discharged via the valve at the base, while a fraction of the fine powders, carried by airflow, adheres to filter bag surfaces. A sudden vibration, triggered by high-pressure gas managed by a pulse valve, causes these powders to fall. The resultant materials from both processes are conveyed for packaging as finished powders. Furthermore, the emission of filtered clean air occurs through the muffler's air outlet, ensuring a clean release.
Technical Advantages of HGM Ultrafine Mill
1. High Efficiency.
Compared to jet mills, mixing grinders, and ball mills, this machine offers twice the capacity under identical final size and motor power conditions, while slashing energy consumption by 30%.
2. Long lifecycle of spare parts.
Crafted from specialized high-utilization materials, the rings and rollers boast remarkable durability, with lifespans extending from 2 to 5 years when processing calcite carbonate.
3. High safety and reliability.
The absence of rolling bearings or screws in the grinding cavity eliminates issues related to bolt shedding or the accelerated wear of bearings and seal components, ensuring a safe and reliable operation.
4. High fineness, flexible adjustment.
This versatile machine allows for the final fineness of grinding materials to be fine-tuned between 325 meshes and 2500 mesh (47-5 micron), achieving an impressive product fineness of D97≤5μm.
5. Environment-friendly.
Utilization of a pulse bag filter and muffler effectively minimizes dust pollution and noise, contributing to a cleaner and quieter environment.
