Working Principle of HGM Ring Roller Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated assembly of components - main unit, classifier, powder collector, and more, each working in harmony to provide unparalleled grinding efficiency.

Beginning with the hammer crusher, large materials are transformed into manageable pieces and transported to the storage hopper via an elevator, ready for uniform distribution by the vibrating feeder and sloping pipe.

In operation, the main bearing and dial are set in motion by the electromotor through a reducer, while the grinding rollers navigate the ring channels, driven by the dial and plunger. Centrifugal force guides materials to the turn plate's edge, into the grinding chambers for repeated pressing and grinding by rollers, resulting in multi-layered crushing and grinding that culminates in the creation of micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower draws in air, which in conjunction with the airflow, carries the crushed materials to the classifier where the high-speed impeller efficiently sorts the airflow: Particles not meeting size standards are relegated for another grinding pass, while those qualified continue to the cyclone powder collector. Most of these qualified powders descend through the discharging valve at the bottom. A fraction of fine powders travels with airflow to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. The sudden vibration from high-pressure gas dislodges these powders, facilitating their conveyance for final packaging. Clean air, now filtered, escapes via the muffler's air outlet.
