Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated blend of technology and innovation, consisting of a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and a state-of-the-art vibrating feeder.

Post-crushing via the hammer crusher, substantial materials metamorphose into smaller forms, ascending to the storage hopper by elevator. These are then gracefully delivered to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

As the grinding mill operates, the main bearing and each dial are set into motion by the electromotor of the primary equipment through a reducer, engaging all grinding rollers. These rollers elegantly traverse the ring channels, powered by the dial through a plunger. The materials are proficiently escorted to the edge of the turn plate by centrifugal force, diving into the grinding chambers, where they undergo an intense process of pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers. This journey transforms them into delicate micro powder as they sink through multiple layers, ensuring thorough crushing and grinding. culminating in the creation of fine micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower continually draws air within the grinding mill, fostering a dynamic airflow that melds with crushed materials, ushering them to the classifier with a high-speed impeller which meticulously screens the airflow: particles not meeting size criteria are recycled back to the mill for further refinement, while those qualifying in size, interwoven with air, transition into the cyclone powder collector. The majority of these refined powders descend and emerge from the discharging valve at the base; meanwhile, a minor share of ultra-fine powders, caught in the airflow, proceeds to the dust cleaner where they adhere to the filter bags' surface. This is followed by a sudden descent triggered by the filter bags' vibration, instigated by a forceful pulse of high-pressure gas managed by the pulse valve. Material from both streams converges at the bottom for final packing. Furthermore, pristine air is emitted from the air outlet of the muffler at the conclusion of the process.
