Discover the Working Principle of the HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is ingeniously designed, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder, all working in perfect harmony.

Initially, large materials are crushed by a hammer crusher and transformed into smaller particles. These are then transported to a storage hopper by an elevator and evenly distributed to the mill's upper turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the grinding mill is driven by an electromotor through a reducer, causing the main bearing and each dial to rotate. The grinding rollers move in the ring channels, propelled by a dial through plungers, pushing materials to the edge via centrifugal force and into the grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials are subjected to continuous pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, eventually becoming micro powder through repeated processes. This relentless cycle transforms materials into fine micro powder, achieving desired consistency and specifications.

The high-pressure air blower continuously circulates air within the grinding mill, facilitating an airflow that carries crushed materials to the classifier. The high-speed impeller of the classifier ensures thorough screening: particles that do not meet the required size are returned for further grinding, while particles that pass the test proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders descend and exit via the discharging valve at the bottom; a select fraction of fine powders is swept away to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. Sudden vibrations, induced by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve, dislodge these powders for collection. The materials from this process are then conveyed and packed as finished products. Meanwhile, clean, filtered air is released from the muffler's air outlet.
