Working Principle

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated ensemble of components including the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Large materials, once crushed by the hammer crusher, are transformed into smaller sizes, conveyed to the storage hopper by an elevator, and evenly distributed onto the upper distribution plate of the turn plate via a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are driven by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer, setting all the grinding rollers in motion. These rollers move within ring channels driven by a dial through a plunger, pushing materials to the edge of the turn plate through centrifugal force and into the grinding chambers. Here, materials are subjected to continuous pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, forming micro powders. This process ensures a consistent and high-quality result.

The high-pressure air blower draws air into the grinding mill, generating a dynamic airflow. This airflow, carrying crushed materials, reaches the classifier, where the high-speed impeller plays a pivotal role. Will screen the airflow: Particles that do not meet quality standards fall back for regrinding, while qualified particles, mixed with air, proceed to the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders are efficiently discharged through the bottom valve. A small fraction of fine powders accompanies the airflow to the dust cleaner, adhering to the filter bags' surface. Thanks to a pulse valve-controlled high-pressure gas, the filter bags experience sudden vibrations, dislodging fine powders that then fall and are collected by a conveyor for packaging. Meanwhile, filtered clean air is released through the muffler's air outlet.
