Brief Introduction of HGM Micro Powder Grinding Mill

The Micro powder grinding mill is crafted by our R&D innovators, integrating numerous innovations and testing.
Engineered for non-flammable, non-explosive, and brittle substances with a Moh's hardness below six, including calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, and over 100 other materials.
The mill offers adjustable fineness for grinding materials, ranging from 325 mesh to a remarkable 2500 mesh (47-5 microns), reaching an impressive product fineness of D97.Achieving fineness <=5μm, this mill has effectively replaced conventional jet mills and ball mills, streamlining processes, cutting production costs, and enhancing powder fineness.


Working Principle of HGM Micro Powder Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill features an integrated design with a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

After initial crushing by the hammer crusher, large materials are reduced in size and conveyed to the storage hopper via elevator, then uniformly delivered to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate by a vibrating feeder and inclined feeding pipe.
During operation, the main bearing and all dials are powered by the main equipment's electromotor via a reducer, with all grinding rollers operating within ring channels, driven by dial through plunger. Materials are propelled to the turn plate's periphery by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers where they undergo continuous pressing, crushing, and grinding by the rollers, resulting in multiple layers being crushed and ground to a fine micro powder.

The dynamic high-pressure air blower draws air into the grinding mill, creating a circulating airflow that transports the pulverized materials to the classifier, where a high-speed impeller screens the airflow: particles not meeting specifications are returned for regrinding, while particles of the correct size proceed to the cyclone powder collector. The majority of qualified powders descend and exit through the discharging valve at the base; a small amount of ultra-fine powders, carried by airflow, advance to the dust cleaner and adhere to filter bags' surfaces. Concurrently, these powders are dislodged by a vigorous vibration of the filter bags, triggered by a pulse valve-controlled instant high-pressure gas release. The material batches are then conveyed to be packed as finished powders. Additionally, filtered clean air is expelled from the muffler's air outlet, completing the cycle.
