Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a marvel of modern engineering, comprising an array of components including the main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, a sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder, all working in harmony.

Initially, large materials are expertly crushed by the hammer crusher, transformed into smaller pieces, and conveyed to the storage hopper via an elevator. They are then meticulously distributed to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.

During operation, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the electromotor of the main equipment through a reducer, setting the grinding rollers in motion. These rollers, driven by the plunger via the dial, roll through ring channels. Here, materials are propelled to the turn plate's edge by centrifugal force and descend into the grinding chambers. Within these chambers, materials are relentlessly pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers, undergoing repeated processing to achieve a highly refined micro powder consistency. The process seamlessly continues as materials are continuously reduced to micro powder.

The sophisticated high-pressure air blower perpetually draws air into the grinding mill, facilitating an interrupted airflow cycle. This airflow, infused with finely crushed materials, is directed towards the classifier, where the high-speed impeller skillfully sieves the airflow, ensuring: Particles that do not meet specifications are returned for further grinding, while those that qualify are whisked away to the cyclone powder collector, perfectly mixed with air. The majority of these qualified powders exit gracefully from the discharging valve located at the base. Meanwhile, a finer fraction, carried by the airflow, moves to the dust cleaner where it adheres to filter bags. This collection is facilitated by a sudden vibration of the bags, prompted by high-pressure gas from the pulse valve. Thus, the process ensures that finished powders are efficiently collected for packaging, while clean air is released through the muffler's air outlet.
