Primarily applied to non-inflammable, non-explosive, and brittle materials with a Moh's hardness below six, it handles calcite, chalk, limestone, dolomite, and over 100 other materials with precision.
Adjust the grinding material's fineness seamlessly between 325 meshes and 2500 mesh (47-5 micron), achieving a remarkable product fineness reaching D97.Achieve unparalleled efficiency with fineness <=5μm, as it adeptly replaces traditional jet mills or ball mills, streamlining the process while cutting down costs and enhancing final powder fineness.


Working Principle of HGM Micro Powder Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is a sophisticated system encompassing a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder.

Initially, larger materials are crushed by a hammer crusher into smaller pieces. These are then transported to a storage hopper via an elevator, followed by even distribution to the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and sloping feeding pipe.
During operation, the main bearing and each dial are powered by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer, causing all grinding rollers to roll within the ring channels, driven by dial action through plungers. The materials are propelled towards the turn plate's edge by centrifugal force, descending into the grinding chambers where persistent pressure, crushing, and grinding by the rollers result in effective material transformation. The materials are processed into multiple layers, consistently crushed and ground into ultra-fine micro powder.

The high-pressure air blower constantly draws air into the grinding mill, creating a continuous airflow that carries the crushed materials to the classifier. The classifier's high-speed impeller screens the airflow effectively: Particles that do not meet size specifications return for further grinding, while those that do, join the airflow into the cyclone powder collector. Most qualified powders settle and are released through the bottom discharging valve while a small fraction of fine powders is carried with airflow to the dust cleaner, adhering to filter bags. A sharp vibration from instantly ejected high-pressure gas causes the powders to detach and fall, managed by the pulse valve. The two powder collections are then conveyed to be packed. Additionally, purified air is expelled through the muffler's air outlet.
