Working Principle of HGM Ultra Fine Grinding Mill

The HGM series micro powder grinding mill is intricately designed, comprising a main unit, classifier, powder collector, dust cleaner, blower, muffler, sound-proof room, crusher, bucket elevator, storage hopper, and vibrating feeder, each playing a crucial role in its operation.

Large materials are first broken down by the hammer crusher, transformed into smaller sizes, and transported to the storage hopper via an elevator. From there, they are evenly distributed onto the upper distribution plate of the turn plate through a vibrating feeder and a sloping feeding pipe.

Once the grinding mill is operational, the main bearing and each dial are set into motion by the main equipment's electromotor through a reducer, ensuring all grinding rollers roll seamlessly within the ring channels, driven by the dial through a plunger. The centrifugal force propels the materials towards the edge of the turn plate, funneling them into the grinding chambers where they undergo a rigorous process of being pressed, crushed, and ground by the rollers, eventually cascading through multiple layers to achieve a consistently refined micro powder finish.

The integrated high-pressure air blower efficiently draws air into the grinding mill, facilitating an airflow that transports the crushed materials to the classifier, where the high-speed impeller meticulously screens the airflow: Particles failing to meet the required size are redirected back to the mill for regrinding, while those that meet specifications are channeled to the cyclone powder collector with the airflow. A substantial portion of the compliant powders descends and exits via the discharge valve at the base; a fraction of the fine powders, carried by the airflow, reaches the dust cleaner, adhering to the surfaces of the filter bags. With a sudden vibration caused by instantly ejected high-pressure gas controlled by the pulse valve, these powders are dislodged and collected. Subsequently, the two batches of materials are conveyed for final packaging. Clean, filtered air is safely released from the muffler's air outlet.
